Historian. Yogi. Pilgrim. Husband. Father. Geek. Foodie.
All these things blend together to give you an idea of who I am. Liberating Narratives is my main project. I write about decolonizing the teaching of world history by centering African, Asian, Indigenous, Latinx, and marginalized voices in the classroom. For over twenty years, I taught world history at Friends Seminary. I've traveled to over 70 countries. My travels shape how I teach and write.
Because of my passion for travel, I also lead international yoga retreats with my wife, Angela. Shared Pilgrimage offers culturally immersive yoga retreats.
I also enjoy writing about Apple-related technology and how we can use it for travel on Wanderlust Apple.
