Liberating Narratives

Liberating Narratives helps educators decolonize the teaching of world history by centering African, Asian, Indigenous, Latinx, and marginalized voices in the classroom. I taught world history for over twenty years at Friends Seminary. and traveled to over 70 countries. Sitting with people around the world and hearing their stories has encouraged me to center other people's stories when teaching and writing about world history.

Shared Pilgrimage

Shared Pilgrimage blends my wife Angela and my passion for yoga and travel. We curate culturally immersive yoga retreats around the world. Small groups facilitate connection. Partnerships with local, family businesses allow for unique and memorable experiences. Come get lost with us.

Pilgrimage Everyday

Pilgrimage Everyday is where I explore my thoughts. It’s mostly short musings about books, travel, and family life.
